Barnas Påskefest 2014

Yesterday evening we celebrated Barnas Påskefest.

The events of Holy Week and Easter were told through simplified Bible readings, pictures, songs and ‘stations’: The last supper, Foot washing, Gethsemane, The cross, and the Empty tomb.

Afterwards we celebrated with boller (sweet bread rolls) and brus (fizzy pop, which Norwegian children often only receive on Fridays).

Then we set up for the Easter Labyrinth (The Journey To The Cross), which is open today through Thursday:
